Gluten Free Blackberry Cobbler – From Scratch

I am excited to share this easy, gluten free, blackberry cobbler recipe with you! Blackberries topped with a sweet biscuit bread make this an unforgettable recipe.

Dessert is an occasional treat in our home and we’ve already planned to make this delicious dessert for Thanksgiving day!

Summer time is drawing to a close.  While making this recipe, I was reminded about our early morning blackberry picking.  A cherished memory with family on the farm, hurrying out before the sun got too hot.

It’s nice to take a short break from chores and enjoy a homemade blackberry cobbler with a cold glass of milk.  The kids loved the cobbler.  My oldest commented how it was nice that the berries came from our own yard.

It’s okay to not have fresh, or from your yard.  This recipe will be just as delicious with frozen blackberries!

Can I make blackberry cobbler the night before?

Yes!  Make it the night before and store in the fridge once cooled.  Set it on the counter the next morning and allow it to come to room temperature.
